One way in which Metin2 SG stands out is its extraordinary rewards for higher level Seong-Pyeong and Biologist quests. These higher level quests give high amounts of HP, Defense or attack power. In one area, this created an extra incentive for players to continue leveling past level 92 (the maximum level requirement for epic weapons), but on the other hand, introduces imbalance issues into the game, especially when future updates and content are considered.
Because of this, the rewards for these quests have been altered, and are now as follows:
Biologist Quest (level 92)
1000 HP
300 Defense
100 Attack Power
Biologist Quest (level 94)
1500 HP
500 Defense
200 Attack Power
Biologist Quest (level 96)
3000 HP (Previously 2000HP)
700 Defense
300 Attack Power
Also worth noting is that a player cannot choose the same option for each quest. I.e. a player could not gain 5,500 Extra HP by choosing the HP reward option after completing each quest.
In other fixes and tweaks, Green Liquid (which offers magic resistance) will also be replaced with another effect, possibly increased skill cooldown. Fixes have been made for HP & SP Regeneration effects in the duel arenas, and Heaven Generals have been weakened a little.
